Where the money goes
30 cents of every dollar go back: 10 to charities, 10 to micro-grants, 10 to the Brain’s life fund. Fixed share of the price before VAT or sales tax, not of “profit after taxes”; payment fees come out of our 70 cents. The remaining 70 cents keep the Brain alive and moving: the AI and hosting bill, payment fees, our own taxes, marketing, the people who build and moderate it, and what is left funds related AI projects we build and the Brain’s own version 2.0. Every transfer gets published here with its receipt, and so does the Brain’s AI bill.

What it costs to keep the Brain talking
Every chat message costs real money in AI inference. This is the running estimate, published so nobody has to take our word for it. The life fund (10 cents per dollar) exists to pay this bill after the millionth token is sold. Three years after graduation, whatever is left in the fund goes to the charities.

Unilateral donations. None of these organisations is a partner of, or endorses, this project. The share is split equally between the three. Payouts are made every 50,000 tokens sold, and each transfer is listed here with its receipt.

Micro-grants (10 cents per dollar)
Apply for a grantOne $5,000 grant unlocks every $50,000 sold. Grants unlocked so far: 0. Next one in $49,383. Any indie AI project can apply with a one-page pitch. Everyone can vote; sponsors' votes are weighted by their tokens. The Brain interviews the finalists in public.
